"N...No...Please..." LakeSpirit was tossing and turning in her moss bed where it was normally located in the back of the warriors den. The silver tabbys' breathing was heavy, even for sleep, and her paws and tail twitched as soft whimpers slipped past her maw, obviously in distress. In her dream, the warrior was feeling terror that she had become all to familiar with. In her Kittenhood, these night terrors where all she had left in terms of memories about her past and where she had come from before being found by ScorchClan. Even in sleep, a sharp rancid smell raked her nose like a foxes claws, the orange and red flicker of flames drowned her vision as her kitten self struggled to stagger along, a feeble attempt to keep up with the older figures looming ahead of her. She could feel her jaw open in a pitiful squeal for whoever was leaving her behind to wait, but to no avail. Finally a sickening crack would be heard over head and as she looked up, something large and heavy came crashing down on her. LakeSpirit jolted awake at this moment as she always did, panting heavily as if she had just run from camp to the edge of Dawnclan and back again. A shudder pasted through her lithe body and she did her best to control her frantic breaths for air. Finally, as quietly as she could, she weaved her way out of the warriors den and slipped outside. The cold Leaf-bare air hit like a welcome splash of water to ones face and she took several deep breaths, as if trying to cleanse the rancid smells from her dream out of her nose. An unbearable grief raked though her mind, as it always did, and she bit her tongue to keep from yowling her confusion and frustrations. "Why...." The warrior thought to herself bitterly, "Why does this keep happening to me?! Who are those cats? My parents?...... " The silver she-cats ears flattened at the thought and she shook herself out before making her way towards the camp entrance. She was never able to sleep again after her nightmares, so she figured she'd make herself useful and try to see if she could hunt anything. Lakespirit was not aware of the pair of eyes that followed her movements as she walked away, too lost in tormented thought about her situation.
