Navigating the city after dark was easy. Few housefolk were out wandering once the sun set, and the monsters were even easier to avoid as their eyes were bright and gleaming in the dark. Wick strolled along the fences, looking into the nests on either sides. There was a brightness within several which let the tom look inside as he passed. Housefolk are strange. So many are fascinated by those odd flashing boxes. How do cats live with that? I'm glad to be out on my own.
A small dog ran at the fence he walked along, yapping loudly and Wick merely looked down on him in disdain. With a hiss that was more for show than anything, he continued along his path. His stomach growled and he changed his course, heading towards a small clearing amidst all the nests. Hopefully there aren't any noisy kittypets there, chasing all the prey away. Hopping down from the fences when they no longer served his purpose, Wick strolled up to the edge of a small Thunderpath and crossed it without pause. Few monsters were out at this time, perhaps there was something that hunted them in the dark, when they were most obviously seen.
As he made his way along the hard path, the sound of the excited squeal of a housefolk kit drew a sigh from the cat. Why can't they keep their kits under control? It's late, shouldn't they be in bed by now? The kit ran at him, and he stopped and sat. It wasn't worth running from the awkward creature, and they weren't that dangerous on their own. Wick purred as the kits large paws rubbed along his body, playing the part of a friendly kittypet but aching to be free of the darn thing. Why are it's paws sticky... It'll take me ages to get its stench out of my fur... A Twoleg yowled in the distance and the kit let out a whine, but didn't leave Wick yet, clearly delighted by his fluffy pelt. Get out of here. Come on, get going...
Notes: Open to any rogue, loner, kittypet, whatever. I needed my boy Wick to get out there. He'll be a part of the rogue group that attacks DawnClan at some point.
